oh - i'm supposed to be giving a baby shower in about 5 weeks. i have not only never given a baby shower before, i've never even *been* to one. I think it's going to be males & females here - any suggestions? please? :)

1) Refuse to have any stupid shower games. You haven't experienced them, but I have, and there are no good ones. They're all stupid.
2) Talk to the parents to see what they want and go with it. It's their event.
3) Don't invite any unpleasant people, unless the couple is really, really adamant that they be invited.

hee. :) ok. it's mostly grad students, i think - she had a shower in texas,i just think she should have one here, too. :) and the father is all for it, as is she - more presents? less we have to buy on a limited budget? yes. :)
