Oct. 18th, 2001 07:46 amdrawing clas.. it was okay. there really wasn't enough time for me to get good sketches at the times when I wanted to, but when I did have time,. i wasn't doing as well.. (shrug) I can definately tell the difference that drawing this week made for me, though! I suppose I should make the effort (well, it's really been made for me :) ) to spend some time drawing each week. told her i wouldn't be there on halloween/samhain, and she's thinking about switching the class - two of us won't be able to be there, and so if everyone agrees, we may have class on thursday. apparently she's teaching us something really remarkable. :)
barnes and noble called last night, and they had two of my books - edwardian costumes paper dolls, and 59 authentic turn-of-the-century fasion patterns. They're pretty cool, although not as cool as i had hoped. I looked at the new charles de lint book, onion girl, and it's 27.95, which is just insane.. there's no way i can afford that. so I suppose i'll wait until it either comes out in paperback (It's only a year.. (sigh) ) or a library near me gets it.. it would only take me a couple of days to read, really.. :)
tonight, miss robyn is coming over, around eight-ish, probably. hopefully, i can get my costume chart done by then, so i can start on my theatre history reading (which there is an absolute ton of, this time around) and saturday, pat's coming over to play on my computer, or so he said. Should be fun. keep me off the computer, so i can do my reading. :)
all is well here, though - things with me and josh are content again, and the kitties are being good - after reading about someones kittie who peed on their stove when they weren't home, i suddenly felt like my kitties were really really good.. :) and i have my npr in the mornings, because I dug out a radio from the studio.
