yay!

I have internet access - my computer decided to work,

I got here - no roomate. apparently, she goes home every weekn, to be with her husband. cool.
josh coming u and staying is also no problem. yay!
i had my first day of work today - everyone is super friendly and wonderful - they even had a meet and greet and served us frozen custard, which is supposed to be a special treat in st louis. it was pretty good.
and then i made it to the grocery store (yay! :) ) and spent over a $100,,, ohwell.
not having a car is kind of weird... but i saw the arch on the way here from the airport, and i am not in the city of st louis - i am in webster, right off the campus of webster univerisity.
hee. :) i got a full night's sleep last night, and should get another this evening. it's wonderful - only an eight hour workday - an hour lunch break, and then another twenty minute break in the afternoon. it just rocks.. and i am getting paid! :)

i am excited about my six weeks. i have a bitch of an alteration to work on today and tomorrow, but it's just difficult and time consuming, it's not stressul. everyone is nice and wonderful.
