Jun. 21st, 2001 02:39 amoff to my mom's tomorrow.. which should be interesting, and possibly even fun. :) we're bringing my laptop so we can check email - if it works while we are there. worst case, we'll be back sometime monday.
went out to dinner with tim and robyn tonight - it was fun. :) and then we went out and got new cellphones - josh and I both have southeast plans with atlanta numbers. yay! moving to atlanta again is very exciting - i know josh is really happy about it, and it will be very neat for me as well. he already has friends there, though, but i have a few as well.
my grandmother keeps harassing me about the job thing - asking what I'm doing towards it, etc.. i told her I was doing what I could - sending out resumes and the like. I need to find a good printer somewhere, and print out some resumes and cover letters, and mail them off. and maybe talk to some temp companies? i am not sure.
I finally emailed judy about my decisions and working this summer - so i should have a response at some point next week, and then be able to figure out to some extent what the rest of my summer will be like. yay!
need to find a cool gift for gina for taking care of kitties and aprtment..
found olivia's second slice today at the used book store, along with some other really cool stuff. thought of gyre, and wondered if he had it.
am currently reading the dune books, and once i finish the ones that josh has, will go for the new heinlein books i got today. my book addiction has hit me again.
am thinking about all the neat things i want to make, some with my josh's help. and so i am looking for model-y type people - some people have a dim outlook on you making things for yourself. (cough, ahem, chapel hill, cough) and thus, i thought i could make things for other people. hee. :) because there are a lot of things I would love to just learn how to make - like a kimono and such. and it's always better to have made something once, and have an idea of how it goes together. any takers? :) josh has offered, of course, and I have a feeling miss sara will be willing, and possibly even miss robyn - i am seriously reworking my portfolio, although I don't know if anyone will ever want to actually look at it. i think a lot goes off of resumes and references.
