(no subject)

waah. my family sucks sometimes.

they wonder why i am looking for a place to live in atlanta without having a job - i shouls, apparently, move in with them until i get a job, and then find a place to live. yeah.

needless to say, our plans haven't changed. :) i did look at temp work and at headhunter, though.

so i am up this early because i am going to meet with mrs pannell this morning.. but i don't really want to take a shower, as i am clean, still.. so the alarm was set much earlier than it needed to be.

and the question arises - how many of your faults/quirks is your partner expected to cater to? and can you be miffed if he/she doesn't?

so i go to meet mrs pannell, and have the weirdest thing happen - she invites me to come to grad school at uga! assistantship and everything.. how odd!

i'd need letters of reference, and blah blah.. but i think i know where to get them.

this is totally the easy way out, and completely unexpected - but i so want the easy way.

reasons why this is good -
- i stay on my dad's insurance
- i have an income
- i finish my mfa, with experience in design, and get a better chance of getting a teaching position
- i get to take more fabric design classes
- i may even have the chance to teach while i am here

reasons why this is bad -
- josh wanted to move to atlanta
- i don't know if i want to be in that costume shop

and, the finale - i have to apply this week, if this is what i want to do! ack! so i am going to go ahead and apply, as she suggested - worst case, i don't get in.. i would have to take the gre in two weeks, and get my portfolio together.. but i could do it. i know i could.

thoughts/advice anyone?
