(no subject)

i'm making a list, and checking it twice.. of all the schoolwork that needs to be done. :)
I don't have all my due dates, which is somewhat disturbing, but they're in my office, i think, so i'll grab them tomorrow, and have the rest of my semester pretty much planned out - with the exception of bdon's class. I worry about the last project, but trust in the fact that he won't screw us over by assigning something big at the last minute.

we went to kmart, and although I didn't really do much xmas shopping there, i did get some cool decorations. :) then we went to barnes and noble, and we got josh's aunt her present, and more xmas cards (we have pooh postcards, which are neat) and part of my best friends present. We're on and off in touch with each other, and we've swung together this year.. I think last year I sent her an xmas card that said - have a good one, i don't have money for gifts this year, so let's not exchange. I didn't even see here around xmas - i think she was in a bad time of her life.. but, this year, we are back together, and so i was looking for a blank journal for her. i didn';t find one that I liked, so I bought a plain black one, and some of the really nice amore cards that I like so much.., and then I played with scissors and spray adhesive, and added one to the front cover, and one to the back. it's neat. I'm going to go inside of it, and put handpicked quotes on pages.. I already have some of them, but I have a couple of kahlil gibhran (sp) books, and a couple of quote books, plus, i keep a list of cool quotes.. I think that will personalize it a lot, and hopefully she'll really like it. I'm trying, here. :) and it keeps the price down, which is happy.

josh and i sat down today and made an xmas list, and i figured out what I still need to buy. I've ordered a couple of things since then, which is cool. I want to go ahead and get it all done, so I can get on with the stuff I want to make. :) i have a couple of things that i want to make, so i'd like to have the time for it.

i also started really working on my th paper today,, it's been a month since i turned in the idea, almost, and i haven't been working on it, which leaves me about two weeks.. at least i know everyone else is in basically the same boat, so I won't look horrible., and i have plans to get it done and turn it in to the writing center, so that it can be the best it could be.. :)

josh is making up a groc list, and i am about to go to the library - he said he'd drop me off on the way to the grocery store. which makes me happy - i don't have to walk with three tons of books. i think i am going to have a snack first thought.

and i might see a wombat on tues. i am excited. :)

hmm.. so i accomplished my list of homework to do tonight, and after so many hours of something to do, i feel lost with nothing to do. i think i;m going to go to bed. happiliy. josh has to be to work tomorrow at the same time i need to be at school, so we'll be getting up together - none of this stay abed laziness. :)

i called my aunt and uncle, and aside from the realization that i really am starting not to like them, got promises of a yummy snickerdoodle recipe from them on thurs..

finished my friends journal - there's a quote approximately every seven pages, and i got most of them out of my quotes book. i like it - i think it's a good solution for around $12, that is personalized. i'm trying pretty hard to do gifts for less this year. some are winding yup being more than my 'limit', though, so it'll probably just even out! :)
