(no subject)

awake. :) and debating whether or not to go to the library... our candle molds are icky - two of them got stuck, and it's either beause I didn't let the wax get up to 200 degrees before I poured, or because they just needs to be cleaned. we'll see. i may stick them in the oven, but I think I also may just go and get the mold cleaner, because it seems like it would be easier than sticking them in the oven. (it didn't seem to work well when we did it) and strawberry pez is calling to me. :) But, I made a fuchsia one (which turned out to be a lighter red - I should use less dye next time) and a lavender one, and it really did turn out lavender, which is okay.. my sister will like it, I think.. we haven't been making them with specific people in mind, really, we've just been making them. I think josh is going to get me tissue paper today, or tomorrow, and then I can start filling up the gift bags, I should clean out the studio so that I have a place to put all my xmas stuff. :) I got a little over a page down on my paper last night, which is good. I really need to kick ass on it, but I am still forming the way I want to do it, and so I need to go through the books, *again*.. but maybe not. Things are coming back to me. :) My work schedule is actually the reverse of what I thought it was - I work 12-3 on mondays, and 3-5 on wednesdays.. more time spent at the school or wherever in between classes, but it will be ok - i have a lot of work to do, i don't think it really matters where I do it! and at school, i am at least relatively focussed,,
i want pumpkin pie. :) i think i'll add it to my grocery list.

yay.. :) I got to see bradley today - for a while, actually., I think he showed up around four, and he just left. and then pat called, and came over, and he and josh had guinnesses, and we all sat around and chatted. I figured out when i would be going to chapel hill to get my couture, and i just hope it's done by then - i would think that it would be graded by 4 days before it's due.. I think I'll email her about that tomorrow.

went to the library, and to michaels, but otherwise, got pretty much nothing done homework wise.. read another section in a book, and again, figured out what I was going to write in general terms, but not in specifics.. so i should get started on that. I keep pushing it back and pushing it back..

found out pat's birthday is only two days after mine, which is cool. :) i know what i am getting him, if he doesn't get it himself first. :)

bradley and i went downtown and to the grill. eating was fun - the waitress chick got a good tip, as even though she oculdn't quite keep our tea glasses filled, she didn't despair, and did genuinely apologize.. and it seemed like she really needed the money, somehow. then we went shopping (go figure) and I, of course, found things that i wanted. :) mainly bamboo, i think..
