Jan. 8th, 2002 01:27 pmapparently, sickness has occurred. this may explain why i haven't felt like myself for a few days.
did something stupid last night, apologized for it today, and bought josh the special edition of dogma (i had gift certs so it was about $10 off) as an i'm really sorry present. went out, go my car tag, went to walmart (on the east side, not something i usually do) and got another shelf (we just need the actual shelves as we're making out big shelf partially into paper storage) and air filters (yay, now, let's hope they fit) for our cenrral air system. ugh. got my dry cleaning, and paid my cell phone bill. woohoo.
still have bunches to do - trying to get all the clothes washed and put up, the studio emptied of trash and thrift store items, and donations to the shop, clean up kitty messes and litter boxes, and finish reading the tailoring book. going to the library might not be a bad idea, either, come to think of it. :) but first, i'll do a little research online, so that when i get there, all i have to do is go in and get books.
and i want to clean up the kitchen and living room a bit. josh did a *lot* yesterday, but there's still more to do, of course. my grandmother said that she was proud of me for cleaning, which she's been trying to get me to do for years. :) and i found out that we'll probably be doing most of our studio work in class, and that drafting, if i can work it, will be on the computer, so i don't technically *need* the studio as studio space, which doesn't help with the whole motivation thing, although now it's definately a challenge. it's close - we can't let it slip back now!
oh - and i can't get my hair straightened for a couple weeks, so i'll just be playing with it until then. it's probably for the best, really.. this way, i'll be *sure* i want to do it.
