my new theory is that I never should have had it straightened, because i don't think i can achieve that look by myself! ack. :)

ohwell - i've gotten to a happy-ish place with it, aided by braids, and so will stop fooling with it (it only took almost two hours) and will start worrying about getting dressed - i have to be at my dad's by three. which means leaving here no later than an hour and a half, probably sooner, so that I can stop and get gas and such things. :)

(no subject)

so i'm back home. it wasn't too terribly much fun, but i got money and a book on fondue. :) still think I am just going to marinate the meat the way i had planned, as these fondues seem to take an awful lot of effort, and I'm not up for that. sara came to dinner with me, and that rocked - it was really nice getting to spend time with her again. haven't spent that much time with her in a while. need to run to the grocery store.
