Feb. 9th, 2002 08:48 pmyay! tomorrow, new orleans. :) hee.
so today, i went out and got the rest of josh's vday present, and ran errands. I'm now the proud owner of tin snips! :) finished up my portfolio, as I found the images and the zip disk that i was looking for. went thorugh jewelry and stuff to get the stuff I wanted for nola. I am missing a box of stuff, and I'm missing some clothes again - it would be lovely if it would show up again, and I'm sure it will, eventually.
I went out and got dryel, so I could dryel stuff - now I am waiting for the dryel smell to clear out before I pack it in my suitcase (and I have a kitty on top of my suitcase, in any case). i'm planning on cooking dinner, but it really doesn't require all that much, and i don't know when josh will be home, so i don't want to go ahead and start it. I still need to clean out my car, but I think that will wait until in the morning, as will loading it - even the best laid plans sometimes fail! I still have a list of todos half a page long, but i'm working on it. :) it was a page long, earlier. i need to gather the stuff (bookwise) that I am taking with me - I should take my motley stuff, and maybe some of the books I got out from the library that i felt like I should read (and even kind of wanted to) and bring one or two of my required graduate reading books - that way i can work on those, and still be semi-productive. :) of course, I'm sure I'll graba couple of for fun books, too!
I think I've come to my senses about the waiting until v-day to exchange stuff theory - why pack it? maybe cards or something, although i don't think josh normally goes in for the card thing.
off to clean the catboxes - i feel guilty for leaving them here all week by themselves, but what can you do? and at least rob will be coming over, every other day. they'll still be attention hungry when we get home.
if all goes well, we'll have internet access from the room. if not, we'll still have it when josh works in the computer lab. if I'm not updating, then check normal's journal - he's Josh, and he'll be updating, since he's the one actually *working* in the lab, we have the theory he'll be around access more than me.
