(no subject)

okay, so i am here. the people are, for the most part, lovely and caring. i am not currently in my house right now - someone else has taken over my room (this *not* being the house with the bats, but being the house without a/c - i'm not living in the residents home any longer)and hasn't gotten out - i am not sure if anyone has told him to get out, because apparently, they can't actually find him. eek.in any case, it's a lovely room, or will be, when someone gets out of it. :) no a/c - it's not too bad, so far - i go to work in the a/c for most of the day, currently, so we'll see - run crew will be outside, but maybe laundry will be air conditioned. (laugh) haven't found a bank yet, but i am sure there's one somewhere. (my bank, not random banks, i've found those) the hedgie seems to be doing ok - i need to go over and check on him, make sure he has enough food and water - taking josh to detroit today, to the airport, and then I will officially be on my own. the house has four other people in it, but they're pretty nice, it is, apparently, the party house, and everyone comes over at night and hangs out - which again, is pretty neat. the job should be fun, and every once in a while, rich dangles the carrot of possibly coming back next year in front of my face. (laugh) i'm not sure i would, honestly, but i'll wait until the end to decide that or not. it could be bunches worse, even though currently, it's not exactly the best. i at least had a room to sleep in last night and tonight, and hopefully the guy will be out of my room by then -we'll see. and my josh is leaving today, so i'm off to spend some time with him - also known as breakfast and unpacking a bit.

josh is already back in atlanta - probably on his way back home by now. yay for him - i miss him, but it will be ok. it'll be good for me. (laugh)

still don't have a room, but i'm adapting - i'm going to start guerrilla war on the housing lady, though - i have a car, i *can* show up at her house.
