Jul. 14th, 2002 06:35 pmthe tiredness hit me as I was downtown. (making copies and being bad. again.) now, i feel exhausted, and still have a decent amoutn of work to do. but not too terribly much, really. load my car. drive home - return stuff to target, get a gift card at lowe's, go by the site and pick up a pair of jeans - or just sew the trim onto them there. either way, it doesn't matter to me. go home, and then do makeup worksheets for my cast. yay, night before first dress. ugh.
however, tomorrow i get to go and cash my petty cash check - and keep it all. (laugh) so there. because i've so spent it all already. ohwell. and at three, i have dress rehearsal, and then will have more fun notes to do. (did i just say that?)
today i got to work on notes, and then paint masks. i was getting way tired of doing notes. painting the masks was fun - i still haven't gotten to make one, but at this point, i'm figuring that I won't get to. i made the point that I didn't have *anything* from either r&j or othello to put in my portfolio to rebecca today, and she apologized. nonetheless, it still bothers me, slightly. especially since it is an easily remedied thing - or would have been. i'm glad i have stuff from saint louis to show for the summer. sheesh. and i have learned an awful lot here, and this was, essentially a one woman show that i did, so i built and crafted and pulled and altered. so I do have all of that.
on the plus side, the suggestion made by the lovely steph worked, and i didn't hurt anywhere near as much this morning. it was a blessing to wake up and not hurt excruciatingly. i only hurt a little. :) of course, now, I really hurt, but it's a dull, all over pain, and my body is telling me how fucking unhappy with me it is. hope mr josh is up to driving home most of the way, because i'm not really sure i'll be able to. i'm also hoping, this week, to go to the previews of romeo and juliet and othello. i'd like to see the shows, and that will be my only opportunity. really, anyway.
my brain=not working. ugh. alright - off to home. just wanted to check lj first, and write a brief update, because all of the days keep running together for me. (sigh) i kept thinking it was already monday today, and there are things i need to do on monday, so i would go "oh!" and then, realize that it was still sunday. amazing how weeks just run together when you work all the time! :)
soon, i say. i will sleep, lots, and spend lovely time in an airconditioned library!
