Jul. 24th, 2002 09:42 amyay. so i was pissy ish all day yesterday, because josh had gotten grumpy at the state of the living room. and i stayed home and cleaned, and felt kind of trapped, but didn't want him to be grumpy when he got home again. well, he came home, and apologized. :) which made me feel eversomuch better. and i had cooked dinner, which he liked, and then we went togo see men in black II, after i chatted with miss robyn. she and tim are sick, but are probably going to come over for lammas dinner next week. :) which means i get to plan a dinner and cook it, and have other peoples company, even. a lovely start for celebrating the holiday. asked tim what he wanted for his birthday - he wants us to spilit the cost of a bookbag with him, which sounds reasonable enough. he's going back to school, which is cool.
took two of the three cats to the vet this morning - still have one to go, but that's in about an hour. may go and get my student loan stuff straightened out first. the two cats cost $145. which is a lot - i still need to look at the sheets and figure out why. of course, that was all their shots and an office visit, so i guess it really isn't all that bad. of course, when they got home, spooky was terribly disappointed to find out that they weren't gone for good. she'll probably be even more disappointed when i put her in a carrier to take her to the vet! she hasn't had nearly as much exposure to kitty carriers as the other two.
stuff i need to do today - kitties to vet, student loan stuff straightened out, mail cards/registration stuff, deposit some checks, call my friend matt, and get my email off my other laptop, so i can email the lady about teaching this fall. and probably work on the living room some more - work on the bedroom if i really get adventurous. :)
