hmm.. so i am currently updating from my new vaio laptop. everything seems to be working - i haven't tried anything really, other than the setup and internet, but i've downloaded all my updates, and now i'll reboot, and then make sure everything works. which best buy wanted to do for me, but it owuld have taken them two hours, and at the time, i was hungry, although i seem to have forgotten about that. i'm getting used to the keyboard - it's actually better than the other laptop i have - i think that this one is actually a little bit bigger, but lighter, if that makes any sense. and sexier. :) (oh, but that shift key is a bitch)

i'm currently still in a bit of shock at how much this cost, and the fact that I just *did* it. but i'm sure in a few months, i won't know how i lived without it. (laugh) and it will be useful for the hellish semester that this seems to be heading up to be.

woohoo. went to barnes and noble, and got the new misty/andre norton book. read it a little while josh was filling out his job app, and then put it away. hah!

came home, and looked up info about consolidating my student loans, under the lovely new interest rate. aren't i a smart girl? one payment and all! and got my pin mailed to me, so I can actually fill out the application online, as well as figuring out exactly how much i owe..

then, i sat down with my book, and worked on comps for, it seems, almost an hour or so. I talked to my mom, too. and i'm listening to shasradio, and it's pretty cool. i'm sure it will get better and better as I rate more and more things - and I'm going to start taking advantage of the uploading one song a day option. they need more jennifer nettles, dammit.

I get amaranthe goodness on monday, i think. :) that will be happy - a new face scrub, and some yummy lotion to try. i love amaranthe goodness. of course, as far as i know, everyone does that has tried it!

alright - off for liquid, maybe a snack, and then back to comps. i really want to get through this book, which is most of my research for one question. i seriously need to get this stuff *done*.

hmm.. so in my musings through the web, i discovered that potpourri really isn't an option for xmas/solstice, but that i *could* make my own vanilla extract for people. yum. i'll have to try it and see how it works, first, i suppose. :)
