Oct. 13th, 2002 04:33 pmI *knew* that my scene design would take me all day. I just hadn't really comprehended it. (sigh)
on the plus side - the model of the actual theatre itself is done, and most of my flats are cut out. i just have to draft the scenery onto them, build my furniture, and make a little 1/4 inch scale person to go in there. ugh.
at least it's just a non-presentational white model. I find it humorous (in the this really isn't funny kind of way) that he spend a week on model building techniques that we aren't using on our white model, yet didn't even talk about how to build the theatre structure. which we *do* have to do for this one. rawr. and the town has been raped of all of the black posterboard - i think i got the last 3 pieces at michaels. and then i found two pieces in the studio, which was cool. so i think i still have two pieces left. but this sucks. building a model is *expensive*!
and i get to build a spiral staircase, too. hah.
