(no subject)

ugh. realizing that why yes, i *do* need to go and get more wax this week. should have figured that out last week, when it was on sale. :) i shouldn't need too much more - maybe two blocks. and really, that's not all that bad. xmas presents are just starting to catch up with me, and today is a friend's birthday, and that is starting to catch up with me, too. i have a lot of things i wanted to give her, i just have to do little touches to all of them, and i haven't done any of them yet. eep. soon. soon i say. i can wait on some of them until saturday, if need be - and just give her those for solstice instead of her birthday. :) which is nice.

okay - making candles. really need to go to the post office, but don't want to go out at all - icky traffic, i am imagining. also need to start working on packsomeluff stuff, but i technically have a few more weeks for that. i wanted to make some extra candles to have them both for us, and for gifts to other people throughout the year, but I'm hitting that done stage, unfortunately. and i just realized that i also need another basket for pine cones, maybe - i'll let josh decide if he wants to give the firestarters to his mom in a nice basket, or in a gift bag. either way, i don't care. :)

the kitchen is almost done, though - i'm hitting the point where i can't really do anything else until i talk to josh. and i don't want to mop yet - may as well wait until the candle making is done for that. now i should really start on the living room, but that kind of scares me. maybe i'll stall by wrapping gifts. :)

note: when you clean something, you are much more observant about it being messed up, and you take more care to try and keep it clean.

thus, josh's frustration with me and the frustration of mothers throughout the ages. :)
