needlegrrlshould have gone to sleep earlier. finally got comfy in this bed - or was just too tired to notice. :) i think it's too short - my feet hang off. the hedgehog woke me up around four or five, digging. crazy hedgehog.
it kind of feels like chapel hill, and i think that's because that was the only time i was living without my josh. i forgot to call satyr last night - i'll try again tonight, even though i know wednesdays are crazy for him.
last time i was here, i was carless, so i walked outsde at least twice a day, most days four or more times - i don't have that here, and i kind of miss the connection. i know, i know - i could still do it. and i may.
i can actually sit in bed with my laptop and do stuff - i think that's neat. :) I'm also currently tempted to go back to sleep, but i shouldn't - i should go ahead and get ready for work and play with the hedgehog, f e is so inclined. i started reading my what is scenography book yesterday, for comps. i think my favorite answer, so far, is - a misspelling. :)
got an email from one of the new grad students, asking about housing. i guess i gave him my card and told him if he had any uestions, to email me. so he said he was looking at online ads, and could i give him a general idea of what the good and bad areas of town were. so i tried. :) makes me feel needed, and we all know how happy that makes me! (laugh)
off to quest for plane tickets for the josh.
