hedgehog cuteness

i just got poki out and played with him. let him wander around a bit, fed him mealworms, put him in his ball, cleane dout his cage (which he is currently rearranging). I gave him water while he was out - it was *so* cute. i fugred he was thirsty, because the first thing that he normally does when he goes back in his cage is drink heavily. because i wake him up, and take him out imediately, normally feed him something.. so he doesn't have time to get a drink. so i pulled out the water bottle, and with him sitting in my hand, let him drink from it. it was such an awesome feeling. now he's back in his cage, rearranging all of his bedding, and his igloo/house. :) such a funny hedgehog.

on other fronts, i did laundry tonight. yay for clean clothes! now, i think, i am off to sleep. it's about time - but i didn't get poki out last night, and i really dont want him to go for more than a night without being taken out - he needs to get used to me, and me to him. i checked his wheel, though (it's one o the ones that keeps track of how much the animal has run) and hes apparently been using it - it says 19 feet, and it was 0 when i put it in there. yay! he lkes it,he really likes it. hee.
