after hearing so much ut down of desgners who don't draw well, i'm very hesitant to do renderings for my show. i kind of have to, though - it's not really a show i can do a collage-y type thing for. (sigh) I'm afraid of what people will say about my renderings - not to my face, but behind my back. I guess this should be good motivation to draw each day!

Just sketching each day helps. Bring a small sketchbook with you and some pencils. It improves a lot.

i know - and i still don't do it. (although i am hoping, that this time. from now on will be different)Ijust always have these life realizations when it's too late to do anything about it, for this time. for some reason, i am very good at denial, and eventually, it just hits home.

Understood. It took a lot for me to get a sketchbook into my bag. It's actually kinda scary if you know you have a lot of room for improvement. People always want to see what you've drawn. that makes me uncomfy.
