i found a $30 check from josh's family for my birthday (which is in january) that they wrote in march. can i still cash it, i wonder. :)

You can cash checks up to 6 months I think....I cashed one not too long ago that was from 4 months ago and it went through just fine!

Yep, unless it is marked on the check, they're good. Might even be up to a year. It would be considerate, though, to let the family know you're doing it. They may have assumed it would never be cashed and re-added the amount to their balance.
