i suppose i should really update at some point!

went to the mask making class - made the foundation, and next weekend, we paint and such. fun.

then came home and prepped for the party. hung out with tim and robyn for a while. headed to the party - there were moments of uncertainty, since apparently most of the people there play games that we don't. :) so a lot of the talk was focused there. got to spend some time talking to scott, which is nice, seeing cute cute kitties, which rocked. memories of where i lived as a child came back to me on the dirt road to the house - i used to live down a road like that. met lots of neat people, and had some interesting conversations. got to talk to [livejournal.com profile] dead_parrot more than I ever have before, and that was quite interesting. and it was nice to know that people *will* drive to athens with the right incentive. :)

today - woke up insanely late, and then headed to the mall of georgia, in the hopes of getting a bag. no bags were found, so we headed to petsmart to get mealworms for poki (of which, he was very unappreciative) and then came home. i got thorugh some important parts of laramie project, and realized i have eight days for roughs (eep!) took some more pictures at the mall, and plan on going in the morning to get a bag, and then going down to the tate center and taking more pictures of people - i think i need to be done with photos by tuesday, and then start putting together parts of collages and figures so I'll be ready for monday. eep. :)

That is really interesting because me and Merrydeath were saying the same thing on the way up. The dirt road really made us nostalgic about our childhoods.Nice to know we weren't the only ones:)

I grew up in a little country town called Ware Shoals in South Carolina. On a farm...It was a breakthrough when our little town got a Dollar store...

Merrydeath grew up in Pensecola.
