Nov. 21st, 2002 04:33 pmAn Open Letter to the Young Hoodlums who Smashed my pumpkins:
First, I'd like to thank you, since it spurred me into actually throwing them away instead of just thinking about it, the way i have for the past couple of weeks, and figuring that if I didn't do it, josh would. ha.
however, I'd like to point out a couple of things.
Whoever smashed the pumpkin in the yard, did it right. You take the pumpkin, and you throw it, which then smashes satisfyingly. In fact, I had even considered that. Whoever just pushed the pumpkin off the railing and onto the porch - eww. This was disgusting, and didn't have nearly the effect throwing it would have. Shame on you - you can't even smash a pumpkin on someone elses porch, during the only hour and a half all day when they aren't home, correctly?
ick. ick. ick.
and how old am i? 24? who am i to be calling kids hoodlums?

mostly, though, it depends on my mood as to if I laugh or call them hoodlums :)
