he didn't respond to the fluids, or the diuretic last night. his levels kept creeping higher, and he just got worse.
so we had to put him to sleep this morning. he was happy up until the last - purring, even when the doctor touched him. and we took him, and i wrapped him in one f my old cloth art projects, all cotton, and we buried him at my dad's, next to my first kitty, who died 3 years ago.
i miss him, *so* much. he was my baby boy. but i knew, on monday, that he probably wasn't going to get better. and i'm content with the fact that he enjoyed being outside *so* much this past year - even bringing us home shrews and such. so that helped, some.
