needlegrrla good night, i think. :) i have a ton of homework, but what's new? :) and I got to talk to satyr tonight, which made me really happy... he's such a nice, friendly person. and he keeps telling me that if i am unhappy, i can move up there with him.
i started xmas shopping again yesterday - bought part of josh's xmas. need to actually *make* it, though, and we'll see when i have time to do that. and i bought miss robyn's at dargoncon, so i've officially started. I think I may get my dad some new darts for xmas, and I already got him and my uncle triops, so i have a definate start!
I also got pink fleece yesterday at wal-mart for feline's kitty hoodie. (it's not cold up there yet, is it? :) ) I think I will do a mock up of the hood and ears, and the mittens (hey, can you send me outline sof your hands and wrists? just trace around them, fingers together and thumb out) and send them to her, since those are the harder parts. hee. :)
I found out that I will be going to mardi gras in 2002. yay! The USITT conference starts on ash wednesday in new orleans, and there's a workshop i want to go to on monday, so i'll head up there one sunday, along with everyone else, and then stay through until the following sunday. hee. :) new orleans for me! and josh, of course.i don't think it would be anywhere near as much fun without him.
josh took his car into the shop today - for a checkup and brakes (they started to go out) and his clutch, possibly. ick, i say.
i finished one of my ten roughs today, though, which is cool. i still need to work on colors for it, but i think it's going to be primarily black. i hate to do that, but the script calls for a dark dress - maybe a brown or red, instead? i want her to have black boots - the boots i found are really cool. (well, it's a photocopy.)
alright - i think i have spent enough time on this tonight - need to get back to doing homework of some sort. :) probably sketching - i really don't want to deal with anymore reading tonight - it's getting late enought that i will start to fall asleep, and thus, accomplish nothing. I handwrote a to do list today, of all the things that are due, so I would be able to cross them off, and do them one by one, in order. it's just not as satisfying on a palm.
