party city is having a nice sale on gift bags. :) so i got some. a lot, actually. 30+. but they were cheap, and i am going to go the gift bag route instead of wrapping paper - they can be used again and again. :)

i made two candles tonight.. well, josh and i made one, and then I got creative, and made another by myself.. it's a blue star, and i think it's going to turn out well. the red one turned out okay - it samk a lot because i didn't do the piercing with the dowel rod trick, so I filled it kinda with some of the blue that I had left... :) hee. it's interesting, at least. I need to figure out what to do with the blue wax - i need to put it in something, and then maybe we can use it for the pine cone fire starters.. so far, it's working out to be about a pound for each candle, maybe a little more.. i think I'll stick to a color a night from now on. we bought the big kit, with the mold, and three blocks of color and everything, and I've been trying out those. we have a dark red, and a green, too - but if I do a color a night, then I shouldn't have as many leftovers of candle wax, and I should have to deal with as many pots.. I put them in the refrigeratoor, even though I didn't think i was going to.. I just couldn't wait to see how they turned out.
much homework did NOT get done today, although I did get to ther library and get the rest of the books that I needed, so I suppose that was a plus.. I need to cancel my xmas focus and renew the schoolwork focus. this day to day list simply isn't going to work if I don't stick to it..

it is. although not as inexpensive as I thought it would be. If I come visit, i'll bring candle making stuff, and we can do it together. :) Or, if you come visit here, we can do it, too.
