Dec. 28th, 2001 09:35 amlast night - mongolian beef for dinner. it was mostly a success - it needed some veggies, even though the recipe didn't call for any. we learned a couple of things, and josh really liked it, so that was good. i still prefer sweet and sour chicken. :) today, we go to see lord of the rings at the imax theatre, at mall of georgia. i think matt and his fam are going to go, as well. then, we're heading into atlanta, to go to lenox and sephora (I have a $50 gift certificate..), and then we're stopping by jen's to give her her present. :) yay. which, even had she told us not to get her anything *before* we bought it, i don't think we could have resisted it for her.
other recipe plans for the week - limeade porkchops, and sweet and saucy meatloaf (which now has spicy thrown into the mix, because the pork sausage i bought was spicy). We're eating an awful lot of meat this week, but i think next week we'll eat from the grit cookbook, and probably not eat very much meat at all.
