well, things are looking up for my ten page paper - i've already got a 4 page outline, and i've just hit the part where he comes to america. :) i haven't even touche don most of his theatrical design work, yet, so i have plenty of information, one would hope. yay.
i do *not* want to go to the library today, and return that journal. but i don't have a choice, i think it's that I have to be there at one that really gets me, to. i hate these crazy deadlines. i need to spend some time on how i learned to drive, and also try and figure out what my schedule is going to look like for the next month or so. i cemented birthday plans with my grandparents, though, and we're going to olive garden on sunday, around 4, which is really perfect. i should be able to eat, and then get back out here a little after josh gets home, which will rock. and that won't really cut into our time together. i think everyone is giving me money - my dad has already given me my gifts - an elph camera, and then I also got a 128 meg compact flash card, and a card reader. unfortunately, it won't work with my laptop, which actually doesn't have a usb port, but that's okay - it just means one less thing to lug to new orleans. (one the tenth. eep.)
it's really nice to do schoolwork on stuff that you're genuinely interested in, my next report is on motley, and that rocks, because Ibecame interested in them last semester, and was wishing that i actually had time to reasearch these people. :) and i think that being in seminar now, will help me with my comps - because i'll have everyone's papers. etc, on the designers, and so if those are part of my comp questions, i shouldn't have to do too much more research on them. plus, it will all be recent, which rocks. woohoo. :) and the book that i ordered off my reading list (it's a scene design book) is really helping, too, so it's a good thing that i got it when i did.
off for more research, and then to go and stake out the library. :)
