went out this morning - rode the st charles trolley into the garden district and looked around a little. came back, to the french quarter - had breakfast (yay!) and then went into the photo gallery - they had some very beutiful and old and famous photos. it rocked. then we went back to little shop of fantasy, and looked for a black crinoline for me - but they didn't have one i wanted, so i'll go out tonight, probably in my black net skirt. :) and corset, hee.
came back, went to the lecture, and then to my portfolio review - it was totally costume tech, not design at all, and it went pretty well, considering. then we went briefly to a mask lecture, and then went down to the dome floor. i may be helping ben nye break down on saturday, which would be quite cool.
my neck's starting to act up, but i am done conferencing today (yay!) and josh works at three tomorrow but i don't remember what else is going on inbetween then. we managed to get up pretty early this morning, and escape, but my knees are still hurting quite a bit, and walking is more difficult than expected - maybe we can arrange for a tour of the garden district tomorrow, or something - i want to take a horse and carriage tour, and that would be excellent. yay. :) i think i'm going to go down to the desk and see what i can do to arrange that.
spent most of the day totally unaware of it being valentine's day - which is a huge contrast to other times! but i spent most of the day with my boy, too, which was wonderful. :)
hugs and happy vday or whatnot to all - off to quest for food, i think.
