Feb. 25th, 2001 12:24 pmokay, so we didn't get as much done before we went to atlanta as planned yesterday, which completely threw us off on getting back here in time to do something with miss robyn, which i am sorry about. we spent the entire evening running around, doing our taxes with my father, and then going and seeing Grace (yay, girl talk) and then Shawn at his workplace. :) Shawn makes the best coffee in the world, and we're discussing having him come up and do a training workshop with the five o people. :)
family yesterday - not bad. they looked at all my pics and were impressed (why, i am not sure) but at least they know what i am doing in a relative sense. My uncle could have solved my rpoblems with my shop manager l;ady - he told me to call the fbi and tell them she was a double agent, and to make sure it was an anonymnous tip. :) i love my uncle. i think it's too late, though. she's already back in town.
however, i hear that ducks work, when you're in unhappy workplace situations, so i am going to try that. everyone wish me luck for tomorrow.
my granbdparents are, i think, slowly going. it's definately not a happy thing - they have been relatively coherent up until this point, but my grandmother is having a harder and harder time remembering anything (like to turn off the grill, or that there are steaks out there) and my grandfather, well, he's just himself, but louder. :) so i am worried about them - i asked my grandmother to put together a book about her life for me, and she hasn't yet. i am afraid if she waits too much longer, she won't be able to, and i don't quitye know hjow to express that to here, without sounding awful.
i got two chrles de lint books and an anthology - the chick is in the mail, which is part of a series of anthologies. i think the last one was chicks and chained males. :) they're all warrior women stories, typically humorous. i don't know when i will have time to read all this stuff, as i have a paper rough draft due in three weeks, my typical work to keep up with, and then my incomplete that I really wanted to finish by spring break, which is, hello, two weeks! ack ack ack. so if you don't see much of me - this would be why!
i am planning on leaving today around 3 or so, and that will put me up there by around 9, so i can go up to the school and work on josh's jacket, so that maybe i am not quite so far behind to start this week off, as i have draping to do tomorrow night. i am thinking about trying to go in an hour early every morning, and use that as specific time to work on something, although i haven't deicided what, yet.
i think that josh and i have decided that he is staying down here next wekened, and coming up on monday or tuesday, as next week is his soring break, but not mine. (damn them.)
breakfast is looking ready, so i am off.
