(no subject)

so i went up to the school and washed my comforter and mattress pad, as that is what kitty pissed on when he pissed on my bed.

i also worked on my ballet bodice, and ironed things for my portfolio while i was up there. then i came home and finished my portfolio with the exception of three things - 1 the two pieces of silk that are currently at the drycleaners; 2 sketches that i ahve yet to do, for the sketching page; and 3 my ballet bodice. it's the ballet bodice that i really really want to put in there. but it's also an issue of getting it done by monday, which is totally possible, but i am not sure at what cost to sleep/gre studying, which should really be coming first. i am pretty confident about my portfolio - i think that for a first year grad student, it's pretty good. considering the whole lack of experience until now thing and all. of course, a lot of it is classwork (hell, 90%.) but i think that's okay, especially to get into grad school with - if i were interviewing, it would not be nearly so full!

i burned sic cds tonight - dido (two, one for me and one for sara, as i just had it sitting on my computer and not on a disk), and two sets of loreena mckennit - live at paris and toronto. One for sara, and one for miss jen. I think i have other loreena around here somewhere - it's just an issue of finding it. and i managed to do most of them while doing other things.

i ate an actual dinner tonight - beef storganoff. of course, it made me slightly ill. but now i am better. and it just wouldn't be food if it didn't make me ill!

turning in my portfolio monday.. everyone cross their fingers. :)

i hate my new cell phone.

so i went out, to meet a random person from a bdsm list, and, as I always do, i set up a safe call. yeah, i know we weren't scening, but i still like to be safe as safe can be. :)

well, there i was, wondering why josh wasn't calling - turns out, he was calling, but it wasn't coming thorugh, he was worried sick. i called when i got home..

so i called verizon customer service, about an hour ago, and waitedon hold, the customer service lady (strange how the option said technical support, but there is really no straigh tnumber to them) couldn't help me, so she transferred me to tech support (duh. where i tried to go in the first placE) and i stayed on hold AGAIN (hmm.. double hold time, yay) even though she said it woulf only be two or three minutes, it was more - someone started to pick up, and then hung up on me. DAMN THEM! so now i have to go through the whole thing again. at least the hold time was less this time, and i am on hold again, but i have talked to someone, and hopefully, i can get through to someone who can fix this - i will not have a phone that won't receive calls, and won't tell me it's not receiving them, and won't give me the messages that the people left! grr..
