(no subject)

hmm.. verizon still sucks, to some extent. apparently they are having issues, and anyone who is roaming just can't receive phone calls right now. ugh!

i did *not* get up at 6:30 to call them like I intended. I decided it was not worth it. Josh was a sweetheart, though, and called and woke me up. otherwise, I would probably have slept all day. (my body has an amazing capacity for sleep. :) )

so, today, I go, and do my practice test, and then go up to the school and work on my bodice, because I do *not* have a good area to use to work on it here, and so I just won't I am such a spoiled girl.

ordered the last part of josh's present today.. heehee. :) I know he'll like it. And it's a good excuse to go to tower records..

gre practice test

so i am taking the gre practice test, and thinking - i am so fucked. especially with the math section. (which is just because I haven't made math notecards to learn all the equations) and I haven't gone over my verbal notecards.

So, it gets to the point where it scores it - and I make a 700 on the analytical, in the 88%. Of course, this is the section that i started guessing on toward sthe end, because UGA doesn't care what I make in this section.

I make a 610 in the verbal in the 80something%, and a 500 in the math, in the 30somehting%. Okay. So not exactly scores to be really proud of, but as a practice test, with distractions, and without studying my notecards (kind of a - so if i had to take the test TODAY, what would I make?) it's not bad. As a matter of fact - it's a good enough score to get me into grad school. woo-hoo! :) yay for me. And I knew I wasn't a good at math person.

On the cellphone front - I won't be able to receive incoming calls on it until I am back in ga, it looks like. So call me at home, and leave a message.

Now, I go to the school (after lunch, i think) and work on my ballet bodice, and getting some of my stuff out of there. I have quarters for the metered parking spaces, even. :) I just don't have a good place to work on it here at home, and I can't stay focused. (go figure. :) )
