last night - hung out at the school, did some flatlining and velvet ironing, ate mexican (and it didn't really make me sick, yay!), watched the commedia show - semi-participated in it, even. I knew that would be the case when I sat in the front row and at least one of them knows me well enough to mess with me. :) it was fun. Jess seemed to enjoy it, too.. someone was talking about (either here or on a list i'm on) not finding the same things funny that everyone else finds funny, and I think I agree with her. It takes a lot more to get me to laugh than most people.. and osmetimes, when I get started, I just can't stop.
came home, aching, and had a message from Billie up at the tattoo place, saying that he found the sketch for my tattoo and she'd be around if I wanted to come up. So I did, and she showed itt o me. It's pretty cool - a pair of tribal wings. I'm talking to her about color, I think we're going to do a fade. Maybe a green one, I'm not sure. If not green then purple or burgundy, but I'm leaning towards green.
I was having a hard time with it, and wondering what was wrong with me, until this morning, when I realized - it's not a tattoo I *need*, it's a tattoo I *want*. It doesn't even enter into the realm of need. It's just a decoration for myself. I've been wanting them for a long time, years, really. so yay. :) I'm thinking about getting it done this week - I need to see about work call, and when Josh is working, because I *definately* want him there.. and weds night I have drawing class, but I could go in after that. thursday sounds even better. :) I think she needs the money, because she hasn't had anything all week, and she seemed pretty excited, and when are you coming in??
I have work call today, and hope to get the velvet dress/coat mostly done, and to cut out minshew's coat.. i may come in tomorrow and cut out minshew's coat, but I really need to work on my roughs for pannell, too. I have to remember that those are due.
