Apr. 30th, 2002 10:10 amhmm.. lessons learned from last night - take advil before you go to the show. find it. or go buy some more. but don't go without it.
don't eat fried food. in general. it makes you hurt, and miserable.
naps are good - if you can't have a nap before they show, you *should* have coffee.
Other than all that, I enjoyed the show. I was so tired, though. (sigh) However, I woke up hearing rufus in my head, so I think i liked it a lot more than i knew at the time. :) There were way too many people there - pushing, and I couldn't see, unlike the Jennifer Nettles show, where I could see her almost all the time. That's to be expected, though - it was a bigger show. And the 40 Watt really is a good place to go and see people - it's a pretty small venue. I'm not sure where he played in Atlanta last night, but I imagine it wouldn't have been as good of a show. :)
off to shower and such so that I can go and get my tires rotated. then, i'm going to the mall to buy a pretty skirt, for opening nights (well, that's my excuse, anyway. :) ) and then to the school. I need to work on my lighting project for a while. I figure I can put my portfolio together tonight - I'm hoping it won't take me that long. And i need to call piedmont college and figure out how to get there! :)
