1) amazon pisses me off. they changed the availability of something that I ordered for my mom, so now she won't get it in time for christmas - i ordered it last week. grr.

2)now is *not* the time to decide i need new clothes and go to the mall/target/wherever. really, it's not. yet, i'm going out. eep. i need two cardgan sweater type things, preferably one white, and one black. we'll see what we find. and how much they are.

i made spicy lemon thai beef last night. and it was *yummy*. in thinking about it, leaving some of the seeds in the jalapeno might have made it a touch spicier, which I was looking for.

but it was even better for lunch today. :) *yum*.

on another note, I'm about to re move in with my dad - and I suspect I'll be cooking dinner, if it gets cooked (depends on my schedule, honestly.) he's not a fan of spicy things, which I am - does anyone have an suggestion of good things to cook?

On a regular basis, i cook/eat (since the boy does most of the cooking) rice heavy things, like jambalaya, black beans and rice, bronzed chix with saffron rice, etc.. I also have a george foreman type of grill to cook chicken on (marinated, or something), and hamburgers, and it does really well to grill veggies for fajitas. I'm just really not sure how much time I'll have, so quick, easy, and good meals would be appreciated (althaea? you have experience with this, yes? :) )

so, ages ago (a couple of weeks?) Callie gave me a makeup package. :)

1) it was for.. may? a long time ago.

3) What are the contents?
I've long since taken it apart, so we'll see what I remember. :) 2 snowflake candle holders with candles, a betty boop metal tin purse with candy, sour pez & pez holder, an awesome art kit with crayons and markers and pencils and stuff in it.

4)favorite item? the sour pez or the betty boop purse. :) they rock.

5) which item surprised you the most?
the art kit suitcase thing. it's neat. :)

i picked up a book at tj maxx today for $5, as part of a secret santa type of fulfillment. :) it's a thousand paths to wisdom, and it is a little book with 100 quotes in it. i thought it was cool. :)
