needlegrrl(contented sigh) I went in this morning, and did show laundry. I also cut out and stitched part of feline's warm fuzzy. :)
then I waled (yes, walked!) downtown to meet up with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
normal so we could meet wiwiff and deadparrot, It was interesting - there was some sort of event going on downtown, and the grill was packed. I'm standing there, and I see Josh, and then a minute or so later, I see two people who simply *must* be them - and she was holding a purple Amaranthe bag (or the color purple I now associate with Amaranthe) so I knew it. :) we wound up going to clocked, instead, which I don't think was a bad choice - they seemed to like it, and I know josh and I did. And I haven't gotten sick yet, which is really impressive - of course, i only had half my burger. While we were there, I got a call from tina saying that the matinee had been cancelled, due to one of the actors being ill, so i didn't have to spend an hour or so there at five-thirty, which cleared up a good deal of my day. so joah and I did a little shopping after wiwiff and deadparrot had to leave - we went to wuxtry, and I picked up the newest jennifer nettles cd, and one of the soul miner's daughter cds, that has gone missing. I'll probably find it now, though. :) The new cd is good. Then, josh dropped me back by the building, and I worked on feline's hoody some more - it's together with the exception of the zipper, the band at the bottom, and the hood being attached and hemmed. not too much work, really. I also need to do the tail and the ears, but that should really be more fun than anything. :)
I left there, and went to the fabric store, and got a zipper. and then I went to the office store - I got pens (because there are never any in the shop, and I would love for there to be some), notebooks (lots! :) ), highlighters. I *love* shopping for office supplies. I also got little bag mailers, because I have some stuff to mail to matt - his show opens on friday or thursday.. then I went to target, where I got a nice black and white striped shirt (at least, it will be nice when I remove the lime green trim from the sleeves and the neck. or maybe i should fabric paint it?) and mothers day cards. then I went to sally beauty supply - I got red hair dye and stuff to go with it, as well as deep conditioner, and glitter eyeliner. I am quite excited about the glitterness. :) then I went to sam's club, where I got lauren's bday present (i won't say what it is, in case she reads this. :) ) and gas! it's a good 8 cents cheaper there than it is where I normally get it. You have to have a sam's card, but it's worth going to that side of town, i think.
then I came home. where i realized i never turned the ac on this morning, so it was unbearably warm. now i'm listening to npr and reading email and stuff - i'm about to burn some cds and do some homework - i have a presentation and paper due in about ten days. that's a page of writing a day, plus the scanning. :)
overall, though - it's been a lovely day.
