needlegrrli have survived my first night sleeping alone. granted, there's a rommate here - but she declined the offer to share a room. (laugh) no, i wasn't hitting on her - she asked if the other room was hers, and i said - yeah, unless you want to sleep with me. she declined. hah.
i also shared my bed with a fox (stuffed) and rose - my teddy bear from childhood. i shared the room with the hedgehog, but i think that sleeping with the hedgehog would be a horrible idea. :) it's bright and sunny here - i'm ready for the second day of work, although my hand hurts, so I'm afraid of what's going to happen. i did a lot of work with my hand yesterday - i'll start wearing my brace at night, and hopefully it will get better.
i miss my josh, but the hedgehog helps, a whole lot - they tire out pretty easily, though. and i'v heard that you can litter train them, so i plan on trying that pretty soon - get a little bit of litter, and a little litter pan i think it would be awesome to have a litter trained hedgie.
the roommate and i are going in together - she's riding in, b/c i'm better at driving than giving directions - i told her i was a horrible navigator. and she agreed to leave by 830, so so far, so goo. i do woner what she thinks of me, though. other than the fact that I'm online a lot, and that i'm chatty. she's invited me out to dinner tonight with some friends of hers - i think it would be weird, but i may go anyway. :) don't want to be the anti-social roomie or anything, but they all know each other from way back. i wish satyr and allison would get in touch with me.
maybe i'll call miss fiona again. :)
