needlegrrlokay, so here's the deal - i've been essentially unable to get online from the place i'm staying, and work doesn't lend itself to me getting online and reading lj, or even updating, for that matter.
My show is going fairly well - i did a LOT of shopping this weekend, and got supplies, and then I have to put stuff together - I'm about to cut out the red queen, but I felt the need to do email and lj stuff, because I've been seriously missing it, and getting bitchy (due to that, working all the time, and not sleeping). I'm not leaving - I don't think i can. however, if I can help it, I am also not a) working this long next summer and b) working wardrobe again. suck ass, i say.
i also found out that pat has been released from his contract, and is going back to working fire in montana. what the fuck, i say. i'm not working at illinois. as a matter of fact, maybe shakespeare festivals really aren't my thing! hah. go figure. i don't know how many days i have left, but it's written on my calendar. it obviously means that yesterday and today haven't been that bad, because i haven't made the effort to check. parking is free today, so that's really happy. i'm about to go nomail on wombat, b/c i'm just not keeping up. but i do check my mail, at least every other day, most of the time everyday. my cell phone works pretty well here, so i can be reached by it as well. soon (two weeks or so) it will be show time, and we'll just be running crew, which is about 2 days of work a week, maybe 3. i think that chicago is a nogo, and instead, i'm going maybe to kentucky, to drop off costumes, and meet up with the josh. if the people i need aren't in ky, then i'll just go and meet him somewhere for a couple of days - i miss him horribly. and he's my lifeline right now - without him, i would just be miserable, and probably would have left already, instead of mostly being miserable and staying. :)
so i'm trying to keep up with lj, but i'm not really managing too well - i'm only reading a reduced lists (no communities, i think) and trying really hard. but i love you all, and will be back soon, i hope - two weeks ish.
poki seems to be doing well, although he doesn't like the cat food i am trying to switch him to, so josh is going to mail me some ferret food from georgia. :) or maybe i should just order some online. that's a good theory.
and ira glass is going to be in the same building as me today, and i, in a way, really want to go and see him. but i don't have the money, and probably not the time, either. if it were fiona, or prairie home companion, it wouldn't be a question. :)
