have i mentioned that i want new hair? :) i do. my hair is apparently too long, if you go by the too long means i never wear it down theory. and i need to get the dye job touched up in any case, because it's been almost three months, and i'm sure i have roots. but i'm thinking of doing something drastic (read, short) with it - any thoughts?

common scenario: you cut it, you never get it long again. it's been 19 years since i first got rid of my long hair. it's taken me that long to get around to growing it back.

i know. mine used to be down to my butt, and i cut it - it's never gone past my breasts since. but i'm okay with that. :)

I haven't really seen it so I don't have much of an opinion. But my hair definitely tries to grow down to my butt - amazes our hairdresser every time we see her. She chops it off around my shoulders, and next visit it's past the bra strap again.

personally, i love my hair short. you just really have to find the cut you like. my hair was about an inch past my shoulders or so when i chopped it back off last. had it all nice and grown out to one length... but it was really annoying the fuck outta me. all i ever did was put it in braids, and that was getting annoying. although i havent done much fun with my hair lately either. but i just like it better short. *shrug* it's all what you feel comfortable with really. i mean, if you like wearing your hair up, fuckit. keep it long and pull it up! i do miss being able to do that sometimes...
