needlegrrlSo I have *stuff* available, if anyone wants it. I'll take best offer, some of it, I'll even give away. :) (note - this stuff is currently, most likely, in doraville right now. however, it could feasibly be moved to the midtown area for pickup. (\my dad's, that is.)
I have a rocking chair - one of the back spokes is semi-broken - it could be mended. you want it, come get it, or tell me where you are, and i could possibly bring it to you. (although i'm more likely to just give it to you if you come and get it. :) ) nice red leather/pleather-y seat - it's feasible that it could be an outside moment.
I have a futon/couch... it's nice, dark wood, with a mattress and some pillows that go with. It used to be my bed, and has served as a lovely spare bed at the old house. drak colors with a pattern - i suppose i should take a picture of it, yes? $175, ideally, but i'll bargain, if needed. :) it is a *really* nice piece of furniture.
i have a bicycle that needs some repair, possibly a new wheel. i've had it since i was young, and it only has a couple of speeds - come and get it, you can have it. :) it's an excellent bike - a schwan, i think, and i named her swan. if you don't come get it, she's going in the trash by the road. (sigh)
i also have a wooden bar stool. free. come and get her.
a half mannequin - she mounts on the wall, and she's from neck to mid thighs- no head, and her back is flat. again, free, as she was free to me. i do want her to go to a good home, though!
i also have at least one, maybe two sets of plastic shelves, if anyone is interested.
first come, first serve.. more stuff will be found, once i start going through things, no doubt!
oh - if anyone is interested in random fabric and craft-y items (mel, i have a little hand loom metal thing - you want to see it?), let me know, and i'll let you know when I run across them. i'm making a pile, because i'm not actualyl capable of just throwing most of them away, i don't think. (sigh)
and I have a *really* nice bedroom set, from italy, i think, or made in italy, at least. it's a queen size bed platform, with a *lovely* headboard that rests on the two nightstands, and has a long dresser, and an armoire that goes with it. it's fucking beautiful, but i simply don't have the room for it, and i am unwilling to break up the pieces so that i can have room for them. if you're interested, email me (kristinemc at gmail), because I actually want to sell it - and I'm willing to let it go for much less than a new one, but not exceptionally cheaply. am willing to talk, though.
