Submissive snack and learn! -- crossposted on lj & lists

So, while i was at SELF last weekend, i learned about something called
a Snack and Learn group, that was started in Philly. There's an email
list, with discussions, and classes held at regular intervals. The
group is submissive/slave/switch oriented - and the classes are
service/skill oriented - things like how do to a manicure/pedicure, or
take care of toys, or bootblack, etc etc etc...

and in hearing about this, i started thinking about how we have
several classes a month for Tops/Dominants skills, and sometimes we
have theory classes, but what we don't have is skill classes for
submissives (unless someone else is holding them, and i just wasn't
invited! laugh).

And i also thought it would be nice to have a submissive/slave/switch
list, and a sort of group where we could all get together on our own -
and how could we do better than to learn a skill, snack, and chat?
because i'm all about multi-tasking and learning.

So the question is - would anyone be interested in this? i thought the
classes could be held once a month, to start, and if we had a really
huge demand for it, maybe someone else could host once a month, as
well.

Send me an email (needlegrrl at gmail dot com) - if there's interest, i'll create a group, and we
can figure out when the best time to do it would be. The Philly
group's classes run about 3 hours, since there's instruction and then
hands on, as well.

JPGoddess and I are in charge of the "spa room" at Frolicon. We will *need* folks to do personal service oriented things there, like manicures, footrubs, hair brushing, etc. I think it would be great to have a valet service, too, to lace up boots and corsets, and to help people get dressed for the evening.

So, if any of your group members are looking for a place to show off their skills....

Hot! I will be spending some time in this room. Sounds especially fun to have a few hotties help me get greasd up and slipped into my latex catsuit! I know my Heathen would *love* to spend a few hours lacing up corsets and boots. He also gives a mean foot and lower leg rub to ladies that have been in high heels all night.
