currently..

working ten or so hour days - work is insane. but i'm taking advantage of their desire to pay me overtime.:) or something like that.

watching babylon 5. highly edited first season. Sir is overseeing it. :) watched the prequel on sunday, two episodes last night, and one tonight.

i was *supposed* to be getting birthday stuff done.. sigh. but no. ah, well - the bought present will have to do. i shall make things..later. :) random gifts!

my body is fucked up - muscles are achy/tight/whatnot. but hey, what's new? at least i have a heatable flax/rice pillow thing, and it helps!

As a nurse, I realize I'm partial to pharmaceuticals, but..... if *I* were you, I'd take an anti-inflammatory medication to make the muscles feel less achey.
(aleve twice a day, or ibuprofen 3-4 times a day)

If you must work overtime, make sure you take extra good care of yourself. Eat well, drink plenty of non-alcoholic fluids, and get as much sleep as possible. Failure to do so will inevitably result in an illness of some sort.

aha! :) i should have asked you! yeah - i'm actually prescribed advil/ibuprofen for anti-inflammatory for my knees, i bet it would be good to take for my neck, too! thank you for the reminder!

and i'm getting occasional pains where i think my left kidney is- i should be drinking more water, yes?:) (i know, how non-descriptive is *that*? )

It's always good to drink a lot of water, but it's possible your left side hurts because you're straining your back.

I'm not sure what type of work you do, but if you're sitting and/or leaning over very much, it can cause a pain similar to kidney pain.

Take the ibuprofen and sleep on your side with a body pillow. (bend your knees and lop one over the pillow) This will put your spine in a more relaxed position, and hopefully relieve the discomfort.

I'd be all over the sore neck if I were there. Hope you work it out soon.

Did you finally hunt down the elusive flax pillow? Babylon 5 is a good series. It's also one of Tim's favorites. Have you finished reading Harry Potter 6 or have you been too busy? I still haven't gotten it; I think my cousin is sending me a copy to read :D I did finsih Book 5 over the weekend. I miss you. Sorry that work is insane. Hugs, Robyn

I loved Babylon 5. It had it's weaknesses, but the strengths more than made up for them.

I loved hanging out with you guys this weekend! Let's do that again soon.

Oh, and what is the website you and Redwitch were talking about, with the daily organization tips?
