had a fabulous time at CAPEX. woo.
and then, we drove for 10 hours today, to see Tracie (and to get home) - she's doing pretty well. i was quite happy to see her- she's moving around pretty well and stuff.
i am *so* tired.
i wish i didn't have to work tomorrow!

Date: 2005-10-02 06:54 pm (UTC)me? oh, i'm well. we're renting a lovely house (fairly near where i used to live in high school, even!), and i'm doing admin assist work for a property management company, which is nice - they appreciate me, it pays decently, and the hours are good. :)

Date: 2005-10-02 07:13 pm (UTC)There's a Yahoo group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NAH1996/), headed by Dionne Maddox. They've really just started sending newsletters and updates; I think they've started looking for volunteers for the committee and whatnot. I just use my Amazing Supernatural Knack for bumping into acquaintances to spread the word (and if you currently keep in touch with anyone, pass it along!).
Appreciation at work is definitely a bonus. There's no point in making a ton of money if you hate the place/people you work for, right? I've been with this company for a few years, and overall I do love it. It's just the customers and the prospect of looming holidays that really turn it into HELL. Yikes.
