okay.. so i have had my two days of classes, and so far, so good.
josh went and got my police report for me yesterday, so i have that to take to my dad, too.

yesterday i had b don's class - it's going to be about building things in the theatre. there will be some drafting involved, which i think i can handle - if not, i'm sure he will offer his help. i ordered the drafting books offline again - i am starting to regret selling *any* of my major class books back from undergrad! ohwell. then I had the intro to graduate studies class, which is a basic this is how expectations are different, this is what is expected of you - oh, and here, write a paper. :) not as much writing help as i wanted, but there are other resources for that, so that is ok.
then, i went to the shop, got a quick tour again, (2 hours = quick? ) and we have to go back on monday, from 2-4 (ack - another three hours sitting in the hallway. ugh! even if it does mean time for homework) when hopefully the other grads are back from highlands. i am wondering if they know i am back or not.. it will be interesting, in any case.
then josh and i went out to dinner at on the border, and it was yummy. and we came home and he put me to bed, and then, apparently, stayed up all night, according to his posts. :) and then he got up with me a little after 8. (why i am up at 8 on a saturday, i am not sure.)

i did get my laptop battery yesterday, as well - i hate the fact that ups will leave 100+ dollar shipments on my porch, which i live in a trailer park. ugh! josh charged it last night (oh, and we watched the new zim! :) ) and now my computer works without being plugged in, which i find to be terribly cool. so next week, when i get into my office (did i mention this? blueprint machine in my office, can't be moved until sometime next week, so i won't have an office until then, not to mention office furniture. (ugh!) )not like i have keys anyway, but that's another issue.) i can get nathan to hook up my computer into the network, and yay! :) lj, email, and chat programs at school. Not to mention a way to type papers and stuff in between classes or work or whatever.

today - atl, jay and silent bob, tomorrow - here, meeting with the guy from milledgeville - i have to go and find a place for us to meet, which means i have to drive 441.

other than that - no real plans for the day.. i could go to the library, but i don't think i want to. i have plenty of school reading to do, and i started another misty series, which i have only read once, as i loaned out the second book in it, and just bought it again. so it's almost like reading it new, since that was a couple of years ago.

I'm enjoying reading about your classes-- brings back memories!

Two things: how do you do that nice "link" thing that brings up the rest of your journal entry only if clicked? I like that and should learn how to do it.

Also-- I'm in Atlanta, we should get together for coffee sometime!
