I listen to two different stations frequently: radioparadise.com and one from somafm.com. They're both commercial-free, listener-supported places. I don't have any trouble with the streams on my DSL connection.
Spinner.com has been faithful to me, with some surprisingly obscure and worthwhile stuff in the Gothic, Industrial, IDM, etc. categories -- works well over an SDSL as well (what I have at work)
