tee hee. :) a mask lady emailed me back (she does leather masks, and i saw a leather fox mask at dragon by her, and did i mention i love foxes? :) ) with prices and such, and I think i'll get it after halloween - she said she'd have to know what i wanted pretty quickly to get it to me before halloween, and since i don't need it by then, i figured i would let her handle her halloween rush, and then, when things calm down, get mine. :)

almost no homework got accomplished last night, although i did go out and get supplies. I got a student gouache kit, something to clean my brushes in, greyish blueish cardstock to print out my renderings on, and PRISMACOLORS! I got the 120 set of prismacolor colored pencils (which i;ve been wanting for forever, but just could never justify.. but i managed to justify it last night. :) ) and they are so much fun. I am very happy with them. i only played with them a little while.

i talked to miss jace last night.. it was so wonderful to hear from her.. she was working for southwest airlines, and then about 5 wks ago, they laid her off, so she's looking for another job - she's thinking about doing some books and artists modeling. which is really cool. she's working on that list of things that she wants to do in her life.. which reminds me of mine. :) and I am workingon mine, too, just slowly.. this drawing class will be one of the things that is on my list of things to do, so that will be fun. or good for me, or something. :)

off to get ready for school - i get to learn knots today in class, and discuss the math that I simply can't wrap my mind around.. but josh can't either, so i feel better about it. :)

a new definition of weekend - a time, uninterrupted by class, to spend doing homework. ugh. not really a new definition - i'm just feeling overwhelmed currently. so off i go - to do homework. tomorrow, we go to josh's mom's for dinner, and of course, the obligatory visit by my dad's..

sigh.. and my oil couldn't be changed today because they didn't have an oil filter for my car. how odd.

at least josh is driving tomorrow, so i can sleep or read..

on the plus side, this morning in my rigging class we learned knot tying. :) and i am currently thinking of what good uses i can put these knots to. :)

*and* i finially got my posters box out of the studio, briefly, and hung up some artwork - mainly in the hallway - so now some more of my stuff is out. :)
